The SSO will be hosting Tartan Talk, a Kiltmaking workshop on September 20th at the Royal Oak Pub in Centrepointe. Along with Ottawa based Master Kilt maker Shirley Stapley, (Bespoked Marshall Kilts) we will be joined virtually, direct from Scotland, tartan historian Peter Eslea MacDonald (OBE, TD).

Peter is of the world’s leading tartan expert and famous for resurrecting and once again weaving, old and forgotten designs.
