Please join us on September 20, 2025 at the Royal Oak Pub, Centrepointe, at 10 am when we will be welcoming guest speaker, virtually, from Scotland, Peter Macdonald, Tartan Historian. Peter is one of the world’s foremost tartan experts and famous for resurrecting and newly weaving old and forgotten tartans. Cost is $15 with proceeds going to the Scottish Tartan Authority, a registered charity dedicated to preserving, promoting and protecting Scottish Tartans and Highland dress, origins, history, manufacture, use and development. [Dave – should we put a payment link here?]

Local master kilt-makers Shirley Stapley and Julie Ricard from Marshall Bespoke Kiltmaker of Ottawa will be on hand to demonstrate how kilts are crafted.and to answer any questions you may have.
