Great Canadian Kilt Skate Toronto: Home Edition

Hey, Toronto, let’s celebrate our Scottish heritage. Let’s join with cities and towns across Canada in the Great Canadian Kilt Skate.

Covid rules may present us from getting together for a community event. But that shouldn’t stop any of us from taking part in the “Home Edition” kilt skate.

All through January and February skaters across Canada are taking to the ice in their tartans and kilts. As individuals and small, socially-distanced groups they’re heading to the ODR, to NPS, to the backyard rink, the pond down the road or the river you can skate away on.

Help Toronto be the 2022 Great Canadian Kilt Skate capital of Canada! The winning city is determined by the number of participants, the number of submitted photos and videos, media pick up, and general promotion.
