Great Canadian Kilt Skate:South Glengarry

Come join us for our Kilt Skate Winter Carnival!

  • Free Admission

  • Skating 12 pm-1:30 pm. Opening with a pipe band and introductions.

  • Live entertainment 1 pm-2:30 pm in the Tartan Hall, featuring The Hallions.

  • 1:00-2:30 pm outdoor wagon rides, snow hill will be open and free hot chocolate will be served.

  • Traditional Scottish treats and a cash bar.

  • Short performance by the MacCulloch School of Highland & Step Dancing dancers.

All through January and February skaters across Canada are taking to the ice in their tartans and kilts. As individuals and small, socially-distanced groups they’re heading to the ODR, the backyard rink, the pond down the road or the river you can skate away on.
