Great Canadian Kilt Skate

Join the SSO for our 12th Annual Great Kilt Skate at Lansdowne Park outdoor skate rink. As with every year we are just one of 15 community events, from 4 countries, including Scotland, organized by the National Kilt Skate.

This year we will again be joined by Counselor Laura Dudas, and Head of the Scottish government in Canada, John Devine. Counselor Dudas will read the Great Canadian Kilt Skate Proclamation, and there will be kilts, bag pipers and hot chocolate.

Afterward we’ll meet at Milestones Restaurant near the rink to warm up and have some snacks.

This year we will be partnering with the Ottawa Food Bank in support of our neighbours in need. Please consider bringing a food donation (see the poster below) or donate directly using the donate link below:
