The Scottish Society of Ottawa is pleased to present an afternoon of information and demonstration of Kilt making from master Kilt maker Shirley Stapley and her assistant Julie Ricard from Marshall Bespoke Kiltmakers.
They specialize in Traditional kiltmaking, done by hand with the best Scottish tartans. Whether you are you looking for a kiltie, a kilt, a kingussie or a military box pleat, they’ll share tartan history and things you need to know when ordering your kilt. Marshall Bespoke Kiltmakers, classically trained in Scotland and looking forward to sharing their passion with you!
The event will take place Saturday November 18th 2-6 pm at the Canadian Forces Station Leitrim All Ranks Mess 3545 Leitrim Road. Following the demonstration there will be a Q&A and a Ceilidh Session with the Mullinger players. Refreshments are available at the bar and there will be tea, coffee, and free Nairn’s Oat Crackers.
Cost for advance tickets is only $10 ($15 at the door).
