Hogman-eh! ‘22 kicks off with the focus on the wee ones in the GREAT SCOT! Kidzone in the Horticulture Building with Highland dancing, face painting, crafts, family fun and some surprises.

Horticulture Building, 1015 Bank Street, Lansdowne Park, Ottawa

Doors open from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Fun activities presented by the Ottawa Highland Dance Association between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm :

• Face Painting

• Colouring - booklets

• Piping - blow into a straw and grow the balloon - discover musical instruments with the Ottawa Caledonian Pipes and Drums.with Ottawa Caledonian Pipes and Drums and Ottawa Highlanders Pipes and Drums

• Drumming - sticks and pads 

• Marielle Lesperance - photos and autographs with World Highland Dance trophy

Join the Parade

6:45 - 7:00 pm

Families join the Ottawa Caledonian Pipes and Drums Parade from the Horticulture Building to the Aberdeen Pavilion to celebrate the 7:00 pm Ring in the Bells Great Balloon Drop, ringing in the bells and marking midnight in Scotland. A mass Highland fling after the parade in the Aberdeen Pavilion will spring you into the New Year!
