Hogman-EH! Ceilidh 2025

Hogman-eh! 2024

By Ken Bartlett

The Scottish Society of Ottawa’s beloved Ottawa tradition returns this year with a fresh name and a cozier vibe.

Hosted in the heart of the Glebe at Blessed Sacrament Hall on 4th Avenue, this year’s celebration promises an intimate evening of high-energy music and warm community spirit.

We’ll be featuring ECMA and Music Nova Scotia nominee, and winner of the Ottawa Capital Music Solo artist of the year (2020), Anna Ludlow, and from the Celtic heartland of Ontario, Glengarry County's own, Bang On The Ear.

Inspired by the festive energy of the original "Hogmanay" on the cobbled lanes of Edinburgh, this event will include an indoor street truck serving up hearty fare to keep you dancing all night long. Don your tartan and join us for a ceilidh to remember!

Tickets will go on sale mid-November, and with a limited capacity of just 350 guests at our venue, they’ll go fast. Stay tuned to our website and social media for the date.
