ROAD TRIP! The Great Kilt Skate Season of 2023
The 2023 Great Canadian Kilt Skate season will definitely be one to remember. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, everyone wondered how things would work out overall.
The answer is wonderfully! For the first time ever, we had a kilt skate from coast to coast; from Antigonish to Vancouver. And the diversity has never been greater. In rinks and on ponds and trails. Small (5+) to larger (80+) groups. Highland dancers, bagpipers and other live music. From family events to adult skates and Ceilidhs. The common denominator was community involvement and fun.
To check it out further, read all about parts of the Great Canadian Kilt Skate road trip through the links below. There were 18 blogs in total with more details on all the fun of each community event, visit the SSO website for more.
