Alix MacGregor Williams brings a rich tapestry of Celtic heritage and professional expertise to her role as Development Director of the Scottish Society of Ottawa, while also serving as a proud Council Member of the Clan Gregor Society - Canada Chapter, and the Welsh Society of Ottawa. Alix's longstanding dedication to cultural preservation is grounded in both lineage and lived experience. Her 2024 journey through Scotland, England, and Wales deepened these ancestral connections and reaffirmed her commitment to fostering inclusive cultural celebrations.

Her background in theatrical production design and sport business management complements her work in both cultural and institutional settings, bringing creativity, structure, and diplomacy to complex initiatives.
Currently completing her MBA at Carleton University's Sprott School of Business, Alix brings a thoughtful, equity-focused lens to organizational development, rooted in a personal passion for historic craftsmanship, community engagement, and social inclusion.
Alix is excited to return to the Society's Board of Directors in this new capacity, having previously served during the formative years of its flagship Hogman-eh! event. She looks forward to contributing to the next chapter of the Society's growth with renewed purpose and perspective.
