The 11th edition the Ottawa Great Canadian Kilt Skate is being held Saturday February 8th, 1-3pm at the outdoor skate rink at Lansdowne Park. The event will be attended by City Councillor Laura Dudas, MPP John Fraser, and Scottish Government Representative in Canada John Devine.
Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe, will declare it Great Canadian Kilt Skate day in Ottawa.
As well as kilt skating, we will have music provided by the Ottawa Celtic Choir, bagpipers, kilt skate, Walker’s shortbread cookies, and hot chocolate provided by Boccato Gelato & Crepes.
Members of the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa (Duke of Edinburgh’s Own) and the National Capital Commission Ice Hogs. will be in attendance.
