Great Canadian Kilt Skate Home Edition: Moncton

Because of the Covid pandemic, we’ve cancelled the community event scheduled for January 23, but we’re Scots! We don’t give up!

Instead, we’re launching the “Home Edition” of the Great Canadian Kilt Skate.

Organize your own personal or family kilt skate event. On your back yard rink. At the community ODR. On the pond down the road or the river you can skate away on. Anywhere where you can skate in a safe, socially-distanced manner.

Help celebrate our proud Scottish Heritage by skating wearing tartan or a kilt. Send your photos and videos to #TartanUp #ScotlandIsNow #kiltskate2022MONC. Or email them to kiltskatemedia@ottscot.ca. We’ll post them in the Gallery below.

You don’t have to be Scottish and you don’t need a kilt. Just wear Canada’s favourite colour: tartan!
