Hogman-eh! Volunteer Tasks

All volunteers will have free access to the event and most shifts will be 2-3 hours in duration. Some tasks will require standing for the entire shift.

Setup Crew

Assist in setting up tables, chairs, banners etc. the afternoon of the event. Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.

Gate & product Sales

Main entrance Gate to verify pre-paid tickets, and sell tickets. This will involve interacting with the public, sitting for several hours, and using a mobile tap pay system (we are cashless this year). We also need volunteers to sell Maverick Donuts and whisky tickets at our product sales table.

VIP Experience/Accessibility section

Assist the VIP Experience & Accessibility Clients, directing them to the VIP Experience & Accessibility area, clearing tables and providing any other assistance as required.

hospitality

Stock the Green Room and volunteer rest areas with snacks and drinks, and maintain cleanliness in these areas during the evening.

Scottish Society Booth

Assist SSO Directors by staffing the Scottish Booth answering questions about the event and the society, and signing up new members
